S e a t s , arrangement and disposition o f . - An auxiliary seat for motor cars &c. comprises a base 1, a seat member 3 and a vertical column 5, 5, constructed to be carried on the seat proper of the vehicle between the occupants thereof. The seat member 3 is preferably arranged towards the front of the members 5, the rear ends of which may be sloped, as at 7, to fit against the upholstery of the vehicle seat back. The space between the members 5 may be used as a receptacle for maps, gloves, &c.
