Abstract

361,789. Road vehicles. BARBE, C. M. C. DE, Moor Tor, Marldon, Paignton, Devon. March 27, 1931, No. 9377. [Class 108 (i).] In a two-seater car having a rearward extension or boot for additional seats the boot is removable. and replaceable by a commercial body. The rearward extending seating part or boot 3 is secured by bolts 4, 6, 10 to a transverse bridging member 5 and to the chassis 1 and is positioned with the remainder of the body by clips 7. To mount a commercial body 8 the boot 3 is removed and an additional bridge member 9 is secured to the chassis members upon which bridge member and member 5 the body 8 is bolted, a spring support 11 being provided. The body may be in two. parts.
