Abstract

153,708. Fitter, B. H. Aug. 29, 1919. Swing seals; awnings for exposed seats.-A swinging seat is supported on a stand comprising two triangular end frames, each composed of two detachably hinged members 1, the end frames having detachable tie-bars 12, 13 arranged near the top at the front, and near the bottom at the back. The members 1 are pivoted together and to an overhead tie-bar 5 through the medium of L-shaped bracket members 3, and an awning comprising a rectangular framework of detachable members 26 is pivotally mounted by means of lugs 27. The seat proper comprises a rectangular framework 15 carrying a spring mattress 16, together with detachable back and end members 17, 19.
