Abstract

1532222 Refrigerating EXETER REFRIGERATION CO Ltd 11 Feb 1976 [28 Jan 1975] 3723/75 Addition to 1434541 Heading F4H A combined refrigeration and water heating system comprises a bulk liquid storage tank 9, a water storage tank 12 having a metal outer wall, and a closed refrigeration circuit including an evporator 8, a compressor 3, a precondenser 10 having a duct or pipe attached to the outside of the metal wall, and a condenser 13. The circuit includes a control valve assembly, which comprises two valves arranged in parallel, one valve 19 being operable in response to pressure in the precondenser to maintain said pressure within predetermined limits, and the other 20 being normally closed and adapted to open when the pressure downstream of the valve assembly falls below a predetermined threshold value.
