1529153 Bearing arrangements in electric motors SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 28 April 1977 [4 May 1976] 17881/77 Heading H2A A motor shaft 3 carrying an external rotor 1 is journalled in the stator 5 by means of a two-row ball bearing 4 having a common outer race ring 10 and inner race-ways 21, 22 formed directly on the shaft. A resilient insulating sleeve 13 is interposed between the ring 10 and the shaft. Pins 12 secure a cover 9 to the stator.
