1528526 Ni-Fe alloy electro-deposition BUCKBEE-MEARS CO 9 June 1976 [11 Aug 1975] 23794/76 Heading C7B Ni-Fe alloy containing 30-60% Ni is electrodeposited e.g. as an electro-formed foil or mesh from a bath of Ni and Fe<SP>2</SP><SP>+</SP> sulphates having an Ni: Fe ratio about 1:1 at pH 1À5-3 using a NiFe anode and a constant cathodic c.d. A constant voltage, continuous or pulsed D.C. may be used. The bath may contain a wetting agent to lower the surface tension below 40 dyne. cm using an anode of 40% Ni.
