Abstract

152,295. Le Grain, R. L. G., and Savary, P. H. R. Oct. 3, 1919, [Convention date]. Addition to 141,329. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Act]. Equalizing load on springs; springs, arrangement of.- Consists in an improvement in the method of spring suspension described in the parent Specification when it is applied to driving-wheels, and consists in using four springs instead of two between the driving-wheels and the body thereby providing resistance to the forward pressure. Pairs of laminated springs 2, 3, 4, 5 are secured to the upper and lower faces of the differential casing, yokes 6 being mounted on the ends of the four springs to support the axle 7. Pressure bars may secure the ends of the springs to the chassis.
