Springs, arrangement of; equalizing load on springs.-Spring suspensions for vehicles, especially motor vehicles, comprise pairs of crossed springs A, A<1> and B, B<1> arranged either longitudinally, each pair being pivoted on a common pivot to the chassis, or transversely, each pair being pivoted on a common pivot either to the axle or to the chassis. The pairs A, A<1> and B, B<1> may each be formed as one spring, or they may be secured to rigid central members 10, 11 as shown, the members 10, 11 being pivoted on the shaft C. When arranged longitudinally, the springs A<1>, B are secured to the chassis and the springs A, B<1> to the front and rear axles 7, 5 respectively.
