Abstract

1522516 Discharging by currents of liquid O & K ORENSTEIN & KOPPEL A G WERK LUBECK 12 Nov 1975 [3 Dec 1974] 46778/75 Heading B5E A dredger hold or other container 1 has a bottom 25 sloping towards a separate chamber 4 from which the formed slurry is discharged by a pump 12. The load 18 is formed into a slurry by water injected through shut off valves 19, 24 above and/or below and/or at the side. The flow to the chamber 4 is controlled by flap valves 5a. The density of the slurry can be controlled by admitting external water 6 through shut off means.
