Abstract

1521745 Hoppers E H BENTALL & CO Ltd 16 June 1976 [18 June 1975] 25996/75 Heading B8S [Also in Division F4] Grain drying apparatus comprises silos 2 each of whose floors is flush with, or is constituted by lowered panels 8 through which air is blown into the silos from air ducts 6 which communicate with a main air tunnel 4. The louvres direct the air towards the outlets 12 of the silos 2 so that the grain passes through the outlets 12 and through passages 16 on to a common conveyer 18 located in a closed conveyer housing 19 to which a fan (20) is connected by means of a pipe (22), Fig. 2 (not shown), so that suction is applied to the outlets 12.
