1519716 Rotors for dynamo-electric machines G A ZALMANOV T A NUZHDINA L M PALASTIN M D PETRAKOV and V I RADIN 6 Aug 1976 32963/76 Heading H2A A rotor with two salient poles has both a field winding 5 and a central permanent magnet 11, and is mounted on stub shafts 10 by flanges 6. The flanges 6 are secured by nuts 9 threaded on rods 8, which extend inside tubular elements 3 that clamp the core laminations between end plates 4. The elements 3 and rods 8 have low resistivity to act as a damping winding.
