Abstract

1519705 Open end spinning SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 27 Aug 1976 [28 Aug 1975] 35783/76 Heading DID The bearings 5 and or 10 of an open end spinning rotor 4 and opener roller 9 are secured in sleeves 6 or 11 by means of resilient portions thereof, the resilient portions being pressed on the bearings by stirrupshaped clamping elements 14 extending around the sleeves 6 or 11 and including central pressure shoes 15. The clamping element 14 are adjustable relatively to the bearing 5 or 10 along the sleeve 6 or 11 so as to urge the resilient portions of the sleeve against the bearing casings. The clamping elements 14 may be adjusted along the sleeves by means of screws 21 engaging in nuts on the clamping elements 14. The ends of the clamping elements may be located in grooves 19 to assist in the clamping action. The degree of adjustment of clamping elements 14 may be limited by fixed stops 23.
