1519559 Current limiting switches MERLIN GERIN 10 May 1977 [12 May 1976 ] 19626/77 Heading H1N A current limiting switch which may have its movable contact operable on overload as described in Specification 1,405,377 and 1,489,010 has its contact 32 biased to the closed position as by spring 36 and movable, by excess current flow, toward the open position to engage a retarding member 48 with which it has a lost-motion coupling, the movement of the retarding member 48 after impact preventing contact reclosure until the retarding member 48 is back in its original position.
