A miniature circuit-breaker comprises a toggle 27, 29 pivoted to a manual operating member 14 and to a contact carrier 21, the toggle when straight being in the path of movement of both an armature 35 of an electromagnetic trip 36 and a member 37 carried by a thermal trip 38 so that under excess current conditions either trip collapses the toggle to permit the contacts to open. Two pairs of series-connected contacts may be provided and the operating member may be a rocker 14.
