Abstract

1518882 Insulating panel ELEMENT AG VELTHEIM and A HUONDER 26 Feb 1976 [26 Feb 1975] 07714/76 Heading E1B A panel of the kind including a layer of heat insulating material 3 and a vapour barrier layer 4 between two layers of concrete 1, 2, has the concrete layers 1, 2 joined by two tie meanders 6, 7 each of which is anchored in one of the concrete layers, the two members having parts 6a, 7a hooking over one another but being separated by a piece of insulating material 8a, 8b and being accessible through recesses in one of the concrete layers 2. The two tie members hook over one another in the polyurethane insulating layer 3 and are separated by wedges 8a, 8b of oak or plastics. One tie is U-shaped and the other Z-shaped.
