Abstract

151,731. Rydberg, T. A. T..Tune 30, 1919. Roller bearings.-In a self-contained combined journal and thrust bearing having cylindrical rollers 4 for taking radial load and two rows of conical rollers 3, 5 for taking thrusts in both directions, the rollers 4 bear against the rollers 3, 5 by means of bevelled surfaces 8, and the rollers 3, 5 are supported by spherical surfaces 9 on loose rings 10. The outer race rings 2, 11 are seated' spherically in a housing-ring 12. The rollers are spaced by pins 6 fixed to cage rings 7 passing into the rollers.
