Abstract

1512728 Liquid developing apparatus VARIAN ASSOCIATES 12 June 1975 [12 June 1974] 25232/75 Heading B2L A cylindrical development electrode 6 is mounted for rotation adjacent the charge retentive surface of a recording media 2 bearing an electrostatic latent image for development. The electrode 6 has a rough surface 13 and is rotated at an angular velocity such that its surface 13 is moving at a speed different, e.g. greater, than that of the surface to be developed. A stream 12 of developer having toner particles suspended in a dielectric liquid is directed against the rough surface 13.
