Abstract
1510106 Brake caliper mountings GIRLING Ltd 8 May 1975 [20 May 1974] 22334/74 Heading F2E In a disc brake driving a yoke 1, 2 mounted on vehicle structure (plates 7) by bolts 6 having resilient bushes 4, resilient buffers 8 are interposed between the yoke and the vehicle structure to absorb forces acting in the longitudinal direction of the bolts. The bushes have inner and outer sleeves 5, 3 of which the former extend with clearance through buffers 8 and act as spacers between plates 7. Each buffer consists of a layer 9 or elestomeric material bonded to metal plates 10.
