Abstract

1507567 Centrifugal pumps KLEIN SCHANZLIN & BECKER AG 7 Aug 1975 [13 Aug 1974] 33086/75 Heading F1C A condensate pump of barrel construction comprises at least one semi-axial-flow stage 2, preceded by at least one stage in which the impeller is surrounded by a bladeless collecting chamber and including a double-flow impeller 3 or 4 of smaller diameter than the impeller of stage 2, the impellers being mounted on a common shaft 1. The impellers 3,4 take in liquid via suction ports 5, 6, 7 and discharge it via ducts 8 to the stage 2. The pump is contained in a barrel which may comprise a tubular main part 9 and several tubular members 12 connected between an intermediate part 10 and an end member 11.
