1506106 Paint roller ROULOR MALERBEDARF GmbH 22 March 1976 11516/76 Heading B2L A roller for applying paint, adhesives or cosmetics comprises a foam plastics roller 4 disposed rotatably on the transverse spindle of a handle extension 3, the foam plastics roller being releasably secured thereon, and a bearing bush or sleeve 5 disposed within the roller 4, said bearing bush or sleeve being releasably secured by a clamping sleeve 6 arranged to be clamped on the transverse spindle. As shown, sleeve 6 is a resilient slotted cylinder whose normal internal diameter is less than the external diameter of spindle 3; it can thus be forced on to the spindle to hold sleeve 5 in place axially by co-operation with a shoulder 7 at one end of sleeve 5 and with a plug 8 which can be force-fitted inside sleeve 5 at the other end.
