863,691. Holders for cleaning pads. MALONE, F. C. Jan. 8, 1960, No. 756/60. Addition to 793,386 Class 61. An improvement in or modification of the swab holder of the parent Specification consists in fastening the ends of the releasable means 24 to a sleeve 26 fitting slidably and closely over the shaft 10, the sleeve and cooperating region of the shaft being formed of slightly oval or rectangular cross-section whereby relative rotation between the two, in one direction will lock them together and relative rotation in the other direction will render said sleeve slidable along the shaft. The guide points for the releasable means 24 consist of an aperture 20 formed in a flattened part of the shaft 10. The forward end of the support 14 is grooved at 18 to enable a brush with a handle to be secured.
