Abstract

[Also in Division A5] A holder comprises an elongated body composed of a resiliently deformable material, which is provided at one end with a slot 1 in which an article, such as a manicure emery board, can be inserted and frictionally held between two opposed flanges 2 and 3; the other end of the body being rounded, arcuately bevelled on one side and concavely fluted on the other side. The holder can be a single integral piece of material in which the slot 1 is sawn or it can be composed of two strip-like portions of material secured together by bonding, cementing or riveting, one or both portions being of reduced thickness over part of its length to define the slot 1.
