Abstract

975,164. Bunion splint. SCHOLL MFG. CO. Ltd. May 31, 1963 [May 31, 1962], No. 21926/63. Heading A5R. A bunion splint comprises an elongated shank 7 with a resilient clip 12 mounted at one end and a toe-embracing member 9 at the other end thereof. Dome 8 on shank 7 receives the bunion. The shank 7 may be moved relatively to the clip 12 by being connected thereto through loops 13 and 14 or the shank 7 and clip 12 may be made in one piece. A heel seat 17 may be connected to the heel clip. The shank may be provided with a longitudinal rib to strengthen it.
