Abstract

150,458. Hockley, G. H. June 17, 1919. Seed-distributors.-A seed-distributor comprises a hopper R mounted on a wheeled frame J and provided with an outlet aperture L which is controlled by a slide M adapted to be opened by a bell-crank lever B, P which is rocked by its arm B engaging removable studs S on a disk A carried by a countershaft C driven from the main wheels K. The slide M is closed by a spring O. A second adjustable slide controls the amount of seed that falls during each movement of the slide M. The number of studs in the disk A may be varied. A pointed spike may be detachably fitted at the base of the machine to draw the furrows for the reception of the seed.
