Abstract

1503829 Security cash bags SECURICOR Ltd 28 June 1976 26823/76 Heading B8K A security cash bag 10 of canvas or other tough material has a mouth formed by two normally substantially parallel sides 11, 12, a first set of apertures 14 adjacent the edge of one side 11, a second set of spaced apertures 15 in register therewith in the side 12, an extension of the side 12 forming a first flap 16 having a third set of spaced apertures 17 therein adjacent the edge of the flap, the flap 16 being foldable over the edge of side 11 so that the apertures 14, 15 and 17 are in register, and a second flap 19 secured to the side 11 below the apertures 14 and having a fourth set of apertures 20 therein in register with the apertures 14 and a fifth set of apertures 22 adjacent the edge of the flap 19, the flap 19 being foldable over the flap 16 when in its folded condition so that the apertures 14, 15, 17, 20 and 22 are all in register. As described each set of apertures consists of four apertures one adjacent each end of the bag mouth and the other two symmetrical about the centre thereof and adjacent thereto. Each aperture has a metal eyelet and is formed in a double thickness of bag material. After closing the bag mouth by folding the flaps the bag edge is folded in concertina fashion and a wire or strip of metal passed through the apertures and sealed to itself. The bag may have carrying handles.
