Abstract

1316140 Bags UNIFOS KEMI AB 28 Aug 1970 [29 Aug 1969] 41558/70 Heading A4G [Also in Divisions B5 and B8] A bag formed from gussetted tubular material includes a foldable filling passage 7 and a flat member 13 which is held in a pocket 10 defined by welds 4-6 and which includes a hand-hole 15 and lugs 16 aligned with corresponding apertures in the pocket 10. The bag is closed Fig. 2 (not shown), by folding the passage 7 so that two holes 11 in the passage 7 are aligned with the lugs 16 which are then passed through the holes 11 and folded against the passage. The welds 4-6 are thermo-welds when the tubular material comprises LD-polyeltylene or polyvinyl chloride. Alternatively the tubular material may comprise plastics coated paper or fabric.
