Abstract

1,234,609. Stacking empty bags. W. R. GRACE & CO. 11 Sept., 1968 [11 Sept., 1967], No. 43270/68. Heading B8C. A package of imbricated open bags 131 is formed by securing one face of each bag to two spaced parallel tapes 128, 129, with each bag overlying the opening in the underlying bag. The tapes 128, 129 are disposed a quarter the width of a bag in from each side and have a tacky substance on one surface; the contact area of each tape and a bag is from “ to 1 square inch. Each bag has two scalloped overlying lips and when the bag is inflated, the mouth is of curvilinear quadrilateral configuration. The bags may be dusted inside and outside with talc.
