Abstract

1502381 Valves KLOCKNER-HUMBOLDTDEUTZ AG 15 May 1975 [17 May 1974] 20631/75 Heading F2V [Also in Division B1] A valve for use in a filter unit comprises a rotary stem 10 having two ports 11 (only one shown), each for controlling flow through two ducts located on opposite sides of the stem, and carrying a cam 26 for actuating spring-loaded ball valves 22, 23 in ducts 20, 21. When the valve stem 10 in is one position, cam 26 opens ball valve 22, ball valve 23 remaining closed, and the ports 11 are positioned so that the ducts associated therewith and on the opposite side of the stem to ball valve 22 are opened, the other ducts associated with the ports 11 being closed; vice versa occurs when the valve stem is rotated to a second position.
