Abstract

1501881 Container traffic vehicle loading CRANE FRUEHAUF Ltd 21 Oct 1975 [22 Oct 1974] 45603/74 Heading B8Q A vehicle, which is loaded with a container goods carrier 16 by reversing under the carrier, when it is supported on legs 17, has a track structure 10 pivotally mounted on the chassis 13 at 11 and supported at the other end by a ram 12. When fully under the carrier locks 18 and at the forward end are engaged and the rams 12 are extended to the transport position as shown for another embodiment in Fig. 5. The legs 17 are now clear of the ground. In the embodiment of Fig. 5 a fixed extension 20 is provided which has guide channels 21 which are aligned with the tracks 10 when they are downwardly inclined in the loading position.
