Abstract

1374222 Container traffic vehicle loading mechanism AUTOLAVA OY 16 Jan 1973 [28 Jan 1972] 2158/73 Heading B8Q A vehicle having a tiltable loading platform 1 which can engage the ground by wheels 20 has an hydraulic motor 4 connected by a chain 5 to a travelling grabs 6. The grab has a transverse member provided with fasteners 15 securable to a container 16 or platform and has wheels 12 running on top of the platform side I beams and supporting wheels 13 running under a top flange thereof. From the container engaged position, Fig. 1, raising of the grab by the motor 4 will force the platform under the container and the vehicle will be drawn rearwards drawing the container up the platform to the loaded position in which the platform is pivoted to the horizontal.
