1501684 Seat frames ACCLES & POLLOCK Ltd 20 Sept 1976 [25 June 1975] 26868/75 Heading A4H A vehicle seat frame is formed from a single piece of tubing, e.g. of metal, whose ends are joined, e.g. at 19, after the tubing has been bent to provide a seat supporting portion comprising a pair of end members 10, 11 and a front rail 12, and a back supporting portion comprising a pair of side members 13, 14 and a top rail 15, the tubing being crimped around both the inside and outside of each bend 16, 17 which joins an end member to a side member to form around each bend a pair of oppositely disposed fins 18. The fins at each bend lie in a substantially vertical plane.
