Abstract

1501619 Endless conveyers BERNARD COLLINS Ltd and P J ILINE 26 Nov 1975 [6 Sept 1974] 39039/74 Heading B8A An endless conveyer comprises interconnected plastics slats 4, each slat having two spaced lugs 1 and a single lug 2 projecting from opposite sides thereof respectively such that the lug 2 of each slat fits between the pair of lugs 1 of the adjacent slat, the lugs having coaxial bores which receive pivot pins (denoted by the dashdot lines in Fig. 2) which are a tight fit in the lugs 1 and a loose fit in the lugs 2. Each slat is strengthened by a metal link 3 which is located on the underside of the slat and has bores in which the pivot pins are received. In the modification of Figs. 4, 5 (not shown), each slat is strengthened by a pair of metal links. In a further modification each slat (10) may have tapering sides to permit relative movement of the slats in the plane of the slats, Fig. 6 (not shown).
