Abstract

1391254 Endless conveyers P J JEPSEN 27 March 1972 [29 March 1971] 8078/71 Heading B8A An endless conveyer 2 has the conveying run thereof slidably supported on members 14 and the return run slidably supported on rails 24. The members 14 and the rails 24 are held in spaced relation by a plurality of spaced supports 16 with a central passageway 22 to receive the return run and a recess 20 in the upper surface to allow passage of a chain 6 &c. secured to the conveyer. The supports are each formed of a pair of moulded elements joined along a longitudinal median plane or, as shown, along planes off-set from said median-plane. Side panels 10 are provided to secure the supports in their spaced relation. In a modification Fig. 3 (not shown) the two support elements are spaced apart and secured to a central support element (38) to provide for two conveyers to be in juxtaposed relationship. More than one central support element (38) may be provided to accommodate further conveyers. [GB1391254A]
