Abstract

1501603 Sieves GREENINGS SOUTH AFRICA (PTY) Ltd 6 April 1976 [8 April 1975] 13790/76 Heading B2H A screen for a vibratory screening apparatus comprises a plurality of screening elements 22, 24 secured to a support frame by engagement of a lip 19 upstanding from the frame with a lug 28 formed by an undercut surface of a rib 26 depending from the peripheral region of each element. The frame may comprise ribbed members 14, Fig. 2, or channel shaped members having continuous side walls and may be formed of metal or polyurethane. The screen elements are preferably formed of polyurethane and have holes of frusto - rectangular pyramidal shape. Each screen element is preferably square with its rib extending continuously around its peripheral region.
