Abstract

1495996 Valves GERLACH-WERKE GmbH 14 March 1975 [16 March 1974] 10830/75 Heading F2V In an apparatus controlling the air/gas mixture fed to a furnace the pressures in air and gas feed pipes are applied to diaphragms 13, 14 connected to a throttle member 12 arranged in the gas or air feed pipe, a mechanism 11 permitting the ratio of gas to air flow to be adjusted. This mechanism consists of an abutment 21 adjustable longitudinally by a screw-threaded member 26 and having rollers at its upper and lower ends in contact with levers 19, 20, the lever 20 having a pivotal connection with the stem 18 of the throttle member 12 while the lever 19 has a spherical depression to receive the pointed end of a stem 17.
