1488165 Direction - indicator cancellers LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 26 March 1975 [19 April 1974] 17187/74 Heading G4Q A striker mechanism for use in a vehicle direction-indicator switch includes a hollow sleeve 11 arranged to be rotatably mounted in an aperture in the body 12 of the switch with the steering column 13 of the vehicle extending through the sleeve, the sleeve includes an external shoulder 14 engageable with one face of the body 12, resiliently mounted projections 18 integral with sleeve 11, spaced axially from shoulder 14 and engageable with the face of body 12 opposite that engaged by shoulder 14, a resiliently mounted lug 21 integral with sleeve 11 and engageable with a recess 22 in column 13 to couple sleeve 11 to column 13 to rotate therewith relative to body 12, and at least one projection 15 co-operating in use with a cancelling member of switch 12.
