Abstract

1486245 Valves SOUTHERN INDUSTRIES (CROYDON) Ltd 12 Aug 1975 [12 Aug 1974] 35525/74 Heading F2V A dispensing valve with a froth restrictor has a body 1, inlet and outlet passages 2, 3 communicating with a chamber 11 in which a restrictor element 13 and a valve member 14 are operable to provide variable flow restriction and on/off control respectively, the restrictor element consisting of a frusto conical portion 16 and a portion 17 having a concave surface or revolution. The restrictor element and valve member may be combined in a single member as shown. The single member may be moved by a handle 31, 33 of which an extension 32 engages a fixed cam face 26.
