Abstract

1289524 Valves DUNLOP HOLDINGS Ltd 19 March 1970 [25 March 1969] 15455/69 Heading F2V A pressure reducing valve has a valve member 8 which co-operates with an inlet 6 to regulate flow to an outlet 10, the pressure at which acts on a diaphragm 11 secured to the hollow valve stem 7 and biased by a spring 34. The latter extends between the diaphragm and a relief valve member 24 which co-operates with a seat 29. The member 24 is guided by housing bore 3 and has passages 26 formed in its periphery to communicate the chamber 22 to the relief ports 31 which are covered by rubber flaps 33.
