Abstract

1482817 Valves MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO KK 31 Jan 1975 [1 Feb 1974 (2) 13 May 1974] 4278/75 Heading F2V [Also in Division Fl] In a swash-plate pump (see Division F1), an outlet poppet valve comprises a head 161 engageable with a seat 163, and a stem with a spring abutment 162 formed with a dash-pot 164 communicating via port 165 with the liquid flow through the valve. In Fig. 9 (not shown), the dash-pot is formed by a chamber (164) in the valve seat and a shoulder on the valve stem, and functions in the opposite direction to that in Fig. 8.
