Abstract

1486110 Manure spreaders JWT AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS Ltd 17 Dec 1975 [6 June 1975] 24363/75 Heading AID The rotatable member of spreading equipment for manure is strong and easily removed and installed in an open topped body 1 and comprises an inner steel shaft 6 rotatably mounted in bearings 5a, 5b and an outer steel tube 11 of square cross section which is detachably keyed to the shaft 6 and has flexible flails welded to it. The drive from a tractor p.t.o. to the shaft 6 comprises one of several gear wheels 9, which is selected to vary the gear ratio in accordance with the horse power rating of the tractor and is connected by a belt or chain 8 to a, gear wheel 7 on the shaft 6.
