1484666 Rotary positive-displacement fluidmachines C MORITA 28 Feb 1975 [2 March 1974] 8410/75 Heading F1F In a compressor for e.g. a refrigerant, an eccentric rotor 33 co-operating with a sprung sliding vane 34 carries a further sliding vane 46, which is biased by the pressure of the fluid being compressed and a leaf-spring (47), and a discharge valve 50 is lodged in a chamber 57. A sealing device (not shown) for a drive-shaft 32 is accommodated by a pocket (37) in an end-plate (35), Fig. 4 (not shown). Prior-art sliding-vane compressors are described with reference to Figs. 1 and 2 (not shown).
