Abstract

1481376 Building construction D SHUHCHEN 17 July 1975 30131/75 Headings E1B and E1W In a prefabricated building construction, concrete wall panels 14 are linked together at their upper edges by bars 12 having grooved lower edges 23, central slots 26 to receive reinforcement ends 18, and key-hole shaped end slots 22, 24 to receive conduits 19 embedded in the panels 14, together with reinforcement 40. The bars allow a prefabricated concrete floor or roof panel (50), Fig. 9 (not shown), with optional overhanging edge portions, to e placed on the walls without the use of temporary formwork. The bars may also be of L-, T- or X-shape, and may have upper grooves 23b to receive further linking conduits 19b and reinforcing rods 25. The slots, and other remaining openings, are filled up with concrete. The roof may comprise grooved slabs (96), Fig. 10 (not shown) with ducts 98 therealong, arranged edge-to-edge, in place of a single panel.
