Abstract

1478721 Stationery XEROX CORP 17 Sept 1974 [26 Sept 1973] 40545/74 Heading B6A A stationery set comprises an uppermost sheet 74, e.g. of paper, a transparent sheet 76, e.g. of plastics, bearing a uniform, opaque coating 82 of pressure transferrable material on its underside, and a bottom-most receiver sheet 84, e.g. of paper, the sheets being attached at one marginal region. Indicia typewritten on to the uppermost sheet 74 are reproduced on the receiver sheet 84 by transfer of the corresponding portions of the coating 82, this transfer also resulting in transparent indicia appearing on the coated transparent sheet 76. Thus, when the uppermost sheet is removed, e.g. along a line of weakness 80, and a coloured sheet is interposed between the transparent and receiver sheets, the indicia take on a coloured appearance and the assembly can be used as a multicoloured original document in a multicolour electrophotographic printing machine of the kind in which different colour toner images formed on a photoconductive drum are successively transferred, in registration, on to a paper support. The uppermost sheet may be dispensed with.
