Abstract
1507724 Multiple use transfer SUBLISTATIC HOLDING SA 9 July 1975 [9 July 1974] 28871/75 Heading B6C A copying master is made by forming colour separation electrostatic images of an original, transferring the images in succession to a base having a dielectric non-photoconductive surface and developing the images in succession with coloured toners each containing at least one dyestuff which vaporizes or sublimes at 120‹ to 220‹ C. When the master is brought into contact with a succession of copy sheets, at suitably elevated temperatures, the superimposed coloured toner images vaporize, and condense as coloured images on the copy sheets. Preferably the copy sheets are of plastics material or of paper coated, covered or impregnated with a resin having an affinity or solvent power for the deystuff. Dyestuffs which can be used are listed.
