Abstract

1476948 Fungicidal dispersions HOECHST AG 29 Oct 1974 [31 Oct 1973] 46752/74 Heading A5E A fungicidal dispersion comprises (by weight) from 5 to 30% of 2-benzimidazole methyl carbamate of formula from 60 to 85% of an aliphatic mineral oil having a flash point of from 65 to 180‹C and a viscosity of from 1.5 to 30 cp at 20‹C, from 6 to 15% of a mixture of monoalkylphenol polyglycol ether having from 8 to 12 carbon atoms and a triisobutylphenol polyglycol ether and from 0.1 to 3% of calcium monoalkylbenzene sulphonate, the alkyl group having 8-15 carbon atoms. Suitable monoalkyl phenol polyglycol ethers have 8 to 9 carbon atoms in the alkyl residue and preferably 8 to 12 ethylene oxide residues.
