Abstract
PURPOSE: To attain the uniform stirring and mixing of a powder and soft ground by using an apparatus in which a secondary blade sliding on a slide groove is provided to a stirring blade with a powder injection nozzle in such a way that it can be set on the back side of the stirring blade during excavation and can also be set a two-stage stirring blade during the process when powder is injected and stirred.
CONSTITUTION: When a driller is turned while sending air into a powder feed path 9 in a given soft ground, secondary stirring blade 20 goes up in a guide groove 17 against a spring 28 under a soil pressure, and performs its drilling work at the same level with the stirring blade 12. When drilling is made down to a given depth, cement powder is pneumatically sent and injected from a nozzle 11 through a powder feed path 9, during which cement powder is mixed with excavated soil by lifting the stirring blade 12 beyond the lower dead point of the excavation. Whereupon, as the secondary stirring blade 20 lifts from the lower dead point of excavation, secondary stirring is made below the stirring blade 12 by its own weight and the elastic action of a spring 28. Thus, uniform stirring and mixing can be performed by such a two-stage mixing.
