Tool-holders.-In a tool-holder for internal or external screw-cutting, the tool is carried by a vertically adjustable slide h<1> or h<2> mounted on an angularly adjustable block d with pointer and scale. For internal screw-cutting the tool is mounted in a circular hole in the slide h<1>, against an adjustable stop bar c, and clamped by a nut b which also clamps the slide h<1> and block d in their adjusted positions. For external screw-cutting the tool is clamped in a square slot in the slide h<2>, Fig. 5, by a side screw and a bottom screw b, with its rear end against the block d.
