Abstract

1475097 Windscreen wipers SWF-SPECIALFABRIK FUER AUTOZUBEHOER GUSTAV RAU GmbH 6 Dec 1974 [28 Jan 1974] 52800/74 Heading A4F A connecting member 20 for receiving an end of a windscreen wiper arm 25 is secured to one side of a wiper blade yoke 10 by a pin 12 passing through and projecting laterally from the yoke 10, the projecting portion 15 engaging in a bore 27 in the member 20, which has a resilient lug 21 which engages in a circumferential groove 16 in the pin 12. The free end of the lug 21 may be pressed manually to release the lug from the groove to permit removal of the member 20 from the pin 12. The illustrated wiper arm 25 has a straight end engaged in a recess in the member 20. Alternatively the member 20 may be constructed to receive a wiper arm end of hook shape. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1416846.
