Abstract

1473467 Reciprocating pumps and motors INDUSTRIEWERKE KARL-MARX-STADT VEB 15 May 1975 [20 May 1974] 20668/75 Heading F1A A hydraulic axial piston pump or motor comprises a cylinder block 2 rotatable with a drive-shaft 3 and having pistons 5 engaging an inclined or inclinable surface 7 via slide shoes 6, springs 8 being seated in recesses 14 in the cylinder block and acting to bias the slide shoes against surface 7, and some of the springs also acting to bias the cylinder block against a ported valve face 13. All of the springs bear at one end against a part-spherical member 11 slidable on the cylinder block and bearing against a plate 12 engaging slide shoes 6. Some of the springs bear at their other ends against a support 10 on the drive-shaft via rods 9, the remainder of the springs bearing against the bottom of their respective recesses 14, Fig. 2 (not shown).
