Abstract

1471444 Developing electrostatic images XEROX CORP 25 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 46228/76 Divided out of 1471443 Heading G2H The subject-matter of this specification is substantially identical with that described in Specification 1471443 but the claims are directed to an endless rotatable member for holding magnetizeable developer particles to the exterior thereof, comprising within said rotatable member a plurality of stationary magnets each extending in a generally axial direction of said rotatable member, at least one said magnet being shorter in an axial direction of said rotatable member than at least one further said magnet in an axial direction of said rotatable member. A single rotatable member may be used both to pick-up developer from a sump and to present it to a latent image.
